Washington surety & contractor insurance · Daily registry watch
Every contractor who just lost the right to work. On your desk by 9 AM.
The moment a bond is canceled or a license is suspended, they legally cannot operate — not one more job, not one more bid — until they buy exactly what you sell. Their current agent just failed them. LapseWatch tells you who they are before anyone else is looking.
Two weeks. Full statewide feed. No card. No contract. No cost. Just leads.
The annual scale · Washington State, FY2025
In FY2025, Washington L&I suspended more than 24,000 contractor registrations — including more than 5,500 canceled bonds and more than 2,300 canceled insurance policies.
That’s the statewide annual scale of displacement. LapseWatch surfaces the fresh, contactable subset every morning — the numbers above this line are today’s feed, not the annual total.
Source: Washington State L&I, Underground Economy Benchmark Report, FY2025 (December 2025), p. 6. Figures are suspension actions, not distinct businesses — L&I notes a registration may be suspended more than once in a year. There were 66,940 active contractor registrations in FY2025.

Why this isn’t another lead vendor
They already have to buy. You’re first to the phone.

“Isn’t L&I data free?”
All 413,000 rows of it, yes.
What you can’t get free is the diff — which handful of contractors changed state yesterday. Finding them by hand means comparing today’s registry against yesterday’s, every day, forever. You could build that. You’ve been busy writing bonds instead.
Their current agent just failed them. You get the call sheet before they know they need you.

FAQ
Straight answers.
Who is this for?
Washington surety producers and contractor insurance agents who write bonds and GL for licensed contractors. If you already work L&I accounts, this is your morning call list.
Is the data public?
Yes. LapseWatch does not sell L&I’s database. It watches the registries every day and surfaces the records that changed — cancellations, impairments, suspensions, new licenses, expirations.
Do you sell the same leads to four other agents?
No. This is not a shared web-lead mill. Territory and seat terms are set when a trial converts. During the trial you see the statewide feed so you can judge the book.
What happens after fourteen days?
The seat closes unless you keep it. The design-partner rate is $399/month, statewide and non-exclusive, rate-locked for early partners — standard pricing will be higher. Annual prepay is available at roughly two months off. Nothing is charged during the trial, there is no card on file, and we agree terms with you in writing before any charge is made. No annual lock-in to start.
Can I just use the L&I site?
You can. You will spend the morning doing yesterday’s diff by hand. That is the product.
